Job Description
Stickyeyes is one of the UK’s top ten online marketing agencies. We are now approaching our tenth year and boast twenty full time staff and an impressive Blue Chip client base.
Stickyeyes is well respected as one of the leading online marketing agencies with best of breed strategies in search marketing.
We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic and flexible person to join our Search Engine Marketing team, working as a web designer. Expert experience of HTML, CSS and a working knowledge of JavaScript is important as is an enthusiasm for the web and the ability to complete tasks to a high standard. The successful applicant will have an understanding of W3C Standards based design, Accessibility and Usability. Hand-coding HTML skills are a requirement. Knowledge of SEO and search engine marketing would be advantageous but not a requirement.
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
• Building & editing of HTML template based web pages
• Creative input into design and /or redesigns of websites, micro-sites, PPC Landing Pages etc.
• Execution of tasks to a client’s brief
• Providing technical expertise to ensure that solutions meet business requirements
Candidates for the role will preferably have:
• A proven record of producing high quality results with HTML, CSS and similar languages.
• ‘A’ level equivalent or higher qualification in ICT or related field desirable but not essential.
• Good eye for design and functional layout
• Portfolio of work showcasing both an eye for design and clean coding
• Be able to work well within a team
• Proactive approach to work with a strong work ethic
• Ability to meet deadlines

Candidate Requirements
The role is suited to someone with a real passion for web design and development and / or search marketing. Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS is essential. Knowledge of Adobe and Macromedia design programmes and Microsoft Office is also required.
