The role
You will be responsible for setting up and managing PPC campaigns for all clients. You will also be required to handle SEO tasks from writing copy and link building right through to developing and managing a full ongoing SEO project.
Responsibilities include:
• Maintain and track several PPC campaigns and stay within budget
• Review and analyze web sites, thorough detailed written documentation, identifying areas for improvement and changes.
• Monitor overall SEO program success with regard to keyword ranking, indexed pages, backlinks, etc.
• Communicate progress updates to your clients and provide answers to any questions related to their SEO and PPC campaigns.
• Understand and follow Search Engine guidelines
• Research new initiatives to improve SEO and PPC practices
• A continual self study of all the latest ethical, and up to date techniques relative to SEO and PPC
• Provide support to SEO consultant as required
Skills and experience
You should have implemented PPC and SEO in a range of industries or be able to demonstrate an understanding of diversity.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
• Keyword research and selection
• Website analysis (structure and content)
• On page/onsite optimisation
• Offsite optimisation (e.g. link building)
• Writing optimised copy
• Competitor site analysis
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Knowledge of Web Analytics software such as Google Analytics
• Analysis, data manipulation and data presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized
• Knowledge of major PPC systems (Google Adwords, Overture/Yahoo Search Marketing, MSN adCenter)
