Web Designer, required for immediate start.
We are a leading design and digital media consultancy with offices in London and Preston. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented Web Designer to join our expanding digital media department located in our Preston office.
As a web designer you will be responsible for a number of high profile web design/development projects. You will provide a ‘bridge’ between our design studio and web studio, as well as take responsibility for project management and client liaison.
You will have proven experience and a portfolio of websites which you have successfully designed/developed demonstrating both your creativity and understanding of web development projects
Essential skills
• Creativity
• Creation of Cascading Style Sheets
• Understanding of programming skills – PHP, JavaScript, AJAX and Frameworks etc
• Understanding of web development software such as Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Illustrator
• Understanding of accessibility, web standards and web browser compatibility issues
• Attention to detail
• Experience in project management of web design and development projects
• Experience in client liaison
