Web Developer, required for immediate start.
We are a leading design and digital media consultancy with offices in London and Preston. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented Web Developer to join our expanding digital media department located in our Preston office.
You will be working on new web projects and providing ongoing maintenance to existing sites.
You will have a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience and a portfolio of websites which you have previously developed, demonstrating skills in PHP, MySQL, XHTML and JavaScript for example.
Essential skills
• Web development skills
• Fluency in PHP, MySQL, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Familiarity with web development software such as Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Illustrator
• A desire to learn and enhance your skills
• Understanding of accessibility, web standards and web browser compatibility issues
Desirable
• Other programming skills – XML, ASP.NET, AJAX, Frameworks etc
