Senior Client Side Developers provide the team with expert level technical skill in JavaScript, ActionScript, X/HTML and CSS with excellent knowledge and adherence to team process. They are happy to take on high profile, complex projects working closely with other teams, sometimes in the role of technical lead. They provide technical leadership within the team and actively participate in the professional development of the other CSDs. They are good communicators and they have an understanding of the “bigger picture” outside the realm of their immediate area of work. They are ambassadors of the CSD team both to other teams in the department and the wider BBC.
