A Web Developer is required to join a growing leader in the hotel booking management sector.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good ASP.NET knowledge, ideally within a transactional web site situation. They will enjoy and have experience of delivering aesthetically pleasing and technically excellent web sites within agreed timescales.
Required technology knowledge:
• 12 months ASP.NET development experience
• Use of VB.NET (or C#) against version 2 of the CLR
• Able to produce HTML, JavaScript and CSS by hand
• Object oriented programming principles
Beneficial skills:
• Photoshop
• Microsoft Silverlight
• User interface design
• Experience of web services, windows application and windows service development
• AJAX
• Classic ASP and VB
• SQL Server 2005 / 2008
• XML and XSLT
• Microsoft certification
• Ability to understand, evaluate and communicate issues across all areas of the business
• A good understanding of IT Security and Information Risk Management issues
