Java Software Engineer Wanted - Do you have experience with Java, SQL (MySQL) and XML (XSLT, XPath)? How about JavaEE / J2EE? Do you work well in a small team? Are you able to learn new technologies quickly and thoroughly? Do you have experience developing software to a professional standard and take pride in your work? We're looking for a talented software engineer combining technical skill with a focused approach to work.
Education: Computing Degree (2:1) or above
Experience: > 2 years
Join our technical team and help develop, test and maintain our software product. You’ll work with customers to integrate with their systems, so systems integration experience would be an advantage. We're an entrepreneurial company based in central Manchester providing real business benefits to our customers.
Any of the following skills/qualifications would also be an advantage:
* Linux/Unix knowledge
* JavaEE / J2EE, JMS, JSP, JSF, OSGI
* Web development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP)
* Automated testing
* Continuous Integration
* Sun Certified Java Programmer
