Information Systems Officer – Full-time, fixed term for two years
We require a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Faculty IT Team, which is responsible for providing IT support to all Faculty staff and postgraduate students. You will have enthusiasm for supporting and advancing the IT function within the Faculty and will be up-to-date with cutting edge IT advances.
Responsible for the day-to-day operational running and planning of the Faculty information systems and web presence, you will work closely with Faculty staff to design, develop and deploy custom built databases and web based applications. With a good honours degree in computer science, or similar relevant experience, you will have experience of using programming with JavaScript and AJAX technologies. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure and without supervision are also essential.
University Grade 7 (£27,466 - £32,796 p.a.)
